Robin Waltz DVM

Dr. Waltz founded Waltz Animal Clinic in 1982, three years after graduating from the Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine. Believing in the importance of giving back to our community and to the veterinary profession, Dr. Waltz has been active in numerous organizations. Currently, she is chairman of the Jefferson County Board of Health, is a member of the Animal Shelter Advisory Board, and is a member of the KDH Bethany Circle and Trinity United Methodist Church. Dr. Waltz has also been chairman of the peer review committee for the IVMA (Indiana Veterinary Medical Association), IVMA 9th district representative to both the IVMA state board and the Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine dean advisory board, president of the IVMA 9th district, president of Tri Kappa, and board member of Girls Inc. of Jefferson County.

Dr. Waltz’s special veterinary interests include dermatology, dentistry and wound healing. When she is away from the office she enjoys tennis, gardening, quilting, singing in the church choir, traveling and spending time with family. She and her husband Tony are blessed to have in their lives daughters Emily and Abby, their husbands Mike and Adam, three grandsons, Elliott, Benjamin, and Drake, and their granddaughter Poppy.

Sonja Tandy DVM

Dr. Tandy began her veterinary career at Waltz Animal Clinic in 1994 after receiving her DVM from Purdue University. She also holds a bachelor's degree from Purdue in animal science. Dr. Tandy spends her spare time with husband Dwayne, chasing after their 12 year old son, Nolan, and converting a tobacco barn on Ryker's Ridge into their country home.
